Councillor's Profiles

We have had an election for Milland Parish Council in 2007 – the first in 12 years. Only ten people stood for the nine vacancies, which is a shame as several more had been expected but they either changed their minds or perhaps didn't get their papers down to Chichester in time. Ah well, there's always next time.

The proportion of Milland voters who bothered to make it to the polling station in the Village Hall was just over 50%, which is pretty good for a local election and was a higher percentage than any of the other local villages.
